Imped(e)imenta, Petrif(y)icus Totalus, and Wingardium Levi(tate)osa

Lately, I've found myself referring to spells from Harry Potter to help my students remember their vocabulary words. I'd feel lame if it didn't always work. Today, the 17 yr old lacrosse player who has until now been too cool for our study sessions exclaimed, "OH! Attended by favorable circumstances. Like Harry on the Felix Felicis potion!" when the world felicitous came up during our flashcard review.

Be careful my future students; I'm nerdy and turns out it's contagious.
